New Board of Directors of Student Council Delegations of Usal


The Student Council Delegations Salamancaha University has selected new members to its board in elections that took place in plenary Extraordinary Dec. 18.

The new board is composed of its president, Severo Gullón Nathaniel Street, also chairman of the Delegation of Chemical and Gonzalo García Prado, President of the Delegation of Translation and Documentation, as secretary general. Rounding out the direction

Pedrero Miguel Blanco, president of the Delegation of Philology, as deputy secretary of Organization, Francisco Acosta González, president of the Delegation of law, as deputy secretary of Economy, Antonio Pires Arias, vice president of the Delegation of law, as herein the Deputy Secretary for Economic Affairs and Juan Cordero Vicente treasurer of the Delegation of Pharmacy, is the Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

School Students visit the Senate and Diplomatic School opens Díez Rosa

Thirty students

Political Science and Administration from the University of Salamanca made on 10 December a field trip to Madrid.

students of the Faculty of Law visited Antwerp Carlos Foundation, a private institution founded in the sixteenth century that made European-oriented cultural activities. At noon

attended the full Senate which approved the proposed veto Draft Law on State Budget for 2008.

The Diplomatic School were greeted by Ambassador Director, D. Eduardo of the Church and by Prof. Dr. Francisco Oda, Head of Studies of the School.

The visit was organized by Prof.. Dr. D ª. Mercedes Samaniego in collaboration with the Delegation of Students of the Faculty.

Lecture III of the Delegation Student Lecture III



Rosa Díez, founder of the political party Union, Progress and Democracy in August 2007, opened with a presentation entitled "Reform of the Constitution of 1978" the Third Lecture 'Voices Free ' organized by the Delegation of Students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Salamanca in collaboration with the Debate Society.

In the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Rafael de Agapito and with the participation of President of the Delegation of Students, Francisco Acosta, Rosa Díez explained some of the key elements of policy UPyD fundamental rights. Then came the participation of students. The Graduate Hall of the Faculty was full. Rosa Díez replied for over an hour and a half to questions from the audience.
