According to information we have obtained, on Saturday, October 2 during the first hours were severely damaged part of the premises of the Faculty of Law, between the buildings affected are very representative sculpture located on the main concourse and that many call "the eagle."

with concern and outrage we see people who were determined to maul the heritage of the college, painted slogans referring to the student movement of 1968, obviously without the slightest idea of \u200b\u200bits meaning. Given these facts, we stated:

FIRST .- To condemn the vandalism carried out by a handful of lads apparently not identified, only sow confusion among the community of the Faculty of Law .

SECOND .- It is necessary to vindicate the October 2 because it is a symbolic date for the exercise of free expression of ideas of students and the country's recent history, but never to destroy our university.

THREE .- As students of the Faculty of Law, seeks to improve our conditions of study, including the creation of a subsidized cafeterias, discounted books and photocopies, a medical service, clean restrooms, education comprehensive plans and programs of study, the intelligent use of the university budget and extraordinary revenue allocated to the Faculty, among other things.

FOURTH .- The activities we do are open to the participation of the university community and are conducted under the principles of self-management and independent student, the goal is to create spaces for exchange of ideas, which together with the critical legal and social issues will lead us to the convergence between the Law and Justice. We are not interested to impose a hegemonic thinking someone, but we build a dialogue that allows us to influence social reality through the knowledge we acquire in the classroom.

is for this reason that we cordially invite you to seek the regeneration of the community within the campus , keep us informed and interested in participating in matters that affect us all as academics, to care for and improve the public university that belongs to all Mexicans and that has remained open through the efforts and hard struggle of past generations.
